And, for dessert -- s'mores! I stick them on the end of a chopstick, and roast them over my oven burner. I've heard you can microwave the marshmallows, but I don't have a microwave, and I'm sure it tastes way better when they're actually burned/toasted.

Thursday's dinner (and dessert)
Thursday night I had a chance to cook up some of my bounty from the farmer's market -- crimini, oyster, and portobello mushrooms, cipollini onion, garlic, and asparagus -- all of this drenched in olive oil and tossed with linguine, with a little sprinkle of salt. It was so delicious! I love letting the flavors of the vegetables speak for themselves.

And, for dessert -- s'mores! I stick them on the end of a chopstick, and roast them over my oven burner. I've heard you can microwave the marshmallows, but I don't have a microwave, and I'm sure it tastes way better when they're actually burned/toasted.
